88 VGQ Vendor Bred Angus & Ultrablack Steers & Heifers. Majority Exhibit Good Bone, Length, Depth and Frame for their age. The 43 HGP Free Steers are ideal to finish off to Slaughter weights with 26 Angus & 17 Ultrablack Steers. The 45 Angus Heifers are also suitable to finish off for Slaughter or retain the pick to breed from as Vendor has not kept any replacements. They have Good Feet, are Quiet & have Tidy Heads. They were 100% weighed & assessed with the 17 Ultrablack Steers & 43 of the Angus cattle mouthed with solid Milk Teeth. The Angus cattle originated from Vendor’s Adelaide Hills property in South Australia & are March/April 2025 drop. Heifers were Preg Tested Empty at assessment by Jack Brodie. The 26 Angus Steers weighed 328 – 464 kg to average 395 kg (full). The 17 Ultrablack Steers weighed 361 – 432 kg to average 403 kg (full). The 45 Angus Heifers weighed 307 – 460 kg to average 381 kg (full). Vendor has a light 4 decks of Crossbred Feeder Heifers in the same sale. Vendor will deliver them to the Winton Saleyards from Saturday the 12th through to Monday the 14th for an overnight curfew. It will be the purchaser’s responsibility to pay for yard fees & hay once they have weighed until they are picked up. The paddocks these cattle came out of have some small Prickly Acacia plants that aren’t in seed.
