Charbray, Charolais, Crossbred, Droughtmaster, Santa Gertrudis
These PTIC cows are offered in a tight 2-month joining window and have been traditionally culled on fertility, with only females that have consistently produced and raised a calf each year retained in the herd. They are due to commence calving at the end of December and are joined to Angus, Santa Gertrudis and Brangus bulls. All cows have been pregnancy tested by a vet and are currently 3–5 months in calf. Note that whilst bulls were left in until early June, all cows are confirmed 3 months or greater PTIC. The age range is 3–9 years, with approximately 50% being under 4 years of age. Around 65% of the cows are vendor bred. These cows have had a weaner removed three weeks ago hence they are in store condition.
