Description
572 VGQ HGP Free Vendor Bred Soft Crossbred Steers (Account MJ & CJ McQueen). They were assessed Friday the 17th July after 18 – 24 hours off feed & water. They weighed 400 – 548 kg to average 461.33 kg (only 30 head over 520 kg). They are all No.5’s with a handful of the lead & 16 purchased Steers (bought as calves on Cows) mouthed. Only 5 x Two Tooths were found so am pretty confident majority will be Milk Teeth with the odd Two Tooth. They come from a Highly Regarded, Large Frame Cow Herd that is made up of Braford, Santa & Simmental, with the odd Cross throughout. All Steers are well dehorned or polled & have good feet. The only blemishes noted are: Flybite x 1, Waterbag x 1, Brahman Cross x 2, Slightly Enlarged Navel x 1. Steers have been bangtailed & put back into their paddock to await delivery. Vendor is happy to deliver into the first week of August if it gives buyers a chance to make room. A big line of Steers of this calibre are hard to find so don’t miss out. Vendor would prefer to sell the Steers dollars per head on property (ideally $2500 + GST or better). Vendor will weigh off scales Winton if the offer is substantially better than dollars per head on property.
