Approx 140 x 140 Vendor Bred Crossbred Cows & Calves. The Cows range from 2 – 12 years with possibly some older Cows as only a handful are number branded. The Cows are a Mixture of Santa, Droughtmaster, Hereford, Brahman & their crosses (refer to photos to satisfy breed makeup). At assessment (8th March) the Cows looked to weigh 250 – 550 kg to average around 360/370 kg. The Calves were fresh to 220 kg to average around 90 kg. The Calves are predominantly by VGQ Santa & Red Brahman Bulls with the odd Calf by a Hereford Mickey. There will be the odd Cow with a Dog Bite or Hip Off that can be negotiated on. Best described as turnover Cows with the pick suitable to retain for long term breeders. Take into consideration that the Cows & Calves will be heavier at delivery due to the good season.
