Description
180 or 6 decks of crossbred heifers located between McKinlay and Cloncurry. From what I saw in the paddock they look to range from about 300 – 460kg and average around 360kg with most heifers around the 330-400kg mark. These heifers have not been intentionally joined but there is a possibility that a few of the bigger ones could be in calf. Vendor is prepared to pregtest if need be. The heifers are predominantly #4’s however I did see some #3’s in the mob. I would imagine they would be all milk and 2 tooth.
I estimate about 75% of the heifers are flatbacks, 20% are brahman cross with slight hump and 5% would be brahman. They are all vendor bred with a few family brands.
They are quiet and well handled and would be suitable to breed on with or fatten to heavy feeders.
