665 VGQ Vendor Bred 11 month – 4.5 Year Old “Terrick & Gowan Blood” Merino Wethers & Wether Lambs. Ideal Wethers to freshen up for the Lamb or Mutton Trade, or retain for Woolcutters. They are strong store to forward store condition with 30 – 35mm of Wool. The Abbotsford Weaners are classed every year by Peter Clark. Purple Tag Wether Lambs (av 33kg) are unclassed & out of season born Dec 19 – Jan 20. Green Tag Wethers (av 43kg) are 18 – 20 months old & are the lead 55% retained when classed earlier this year. The 51 older Wethers (av 52kg) are leftovers from their year groups that were missed or didn’t fit on the truck. Green Tag & Older Wethers are Muelsed but Purple Tag Lambs are Un-muelsed. Green Tag Wethers cut 5.3 kg of Wool this year & had a 17.6 micron fleece last year as Lambs. Purple Tag Lambs cut 1.5 kg this year at 8 months old. There are 10% with Un-tipped Wether Horn.
