650 GQ 11 to 14 month old (March / June 2019 drop) Terrick bloodline mixed sex merino lambs & hoggets from classed flock. There are 280 ewes & 370 wethers. They are in good store to fwd store condition & are strong & robust. They are mostly good medium to large frame with a good 63 mm staple length of wool. Of the 138 head mouthed, 92% were lambs teeth with 8% just cutting or were fresh two tooth. Approx. 6% have normal tipped weaner horn. Good quiet well handled young sheep with plenty of quality about them. They were classed from the flock – 34% ewes & 44% wethers. They are usually classed at a 20 to 25% rate but this year was higher due to deteriorating seasonal conditions & the need to make up 6 decks for trucking. 1% tail was removed prior to assessing. 2 lambs missing an ear, 1 with one eye & 3 with very small healed dog bites. 60 days payment terms available to buyer if settling through a recognized livestock agent as long as that agent gets pre-approval from Tom Brodie prior to the sale.
