545 GQ First Cross Vendor Bred Young Does. They will make Great Long Term Future Breeders & have been joined since weaning late last year to GQ First Cross Bucks @ 20%. They have been bred out of Rangeland Does by VGQ Boer & Kalahari Red Bucks. They are 5 – 10 months of age with 6 of the bigger Does mouthed showing milk teeth. At assessment there were 55 x Does weighed individually to get a high & low weight. Another 239 Head were bulk weighed to get a total mob average of 25 kg. There would be approx 5% of the Does that are under 15 kg liveweight. Approximately 20% of the assessed Does were showing signs of being in kid. Due to their weight, condition & feed quality, a good percentage should be in kid. They are mustered & handled with Aeroplanes, Bikes & Dogs. Majority were weaned at the end of November 2020 & undertook a yard weaning, tailing & education program. They are very good to handle through the yards & in the paddock.
