540 VGQ 23 to 25 month old (March / June 2018 drop) Terrick bloodline merino wethers from classed flock. They are in good forward store to prime condition & are strong robust young wethers. They are mostly good large frame wethers with a good 60 mm staple length of well nourished wool. Of the 98 head mouthed, 12 x 2 tooth, 54 x 4 tooth & 1 head was 6 tooth (This wether was marked the same age but had cut his teeth early). Approx. 10% have normal tipped wether horn. Good quiet well handled wethers with plenty of style about them. Young wool growers that you would get another 3 or 4 wool clips off them & then fatten for the heavy slaughter market or live export trade. The tail was classed out in August 2019 at shearing time. Buyers please note these wethers had no curfew – please make own curfew adjustment. 90 days payment terms available to buyer if settling through a recognized livestock agent as long as that agent gets pre-approval from Brodie Agencies before the sale.
